Additional Information:
Students in this three-day course will be introduced to theory and practical concepts of airplane travel safety.
Students will be taught the basics of avionics and aircraft construction, including the anatomy of an airplane and identification of passenger, cargo, and fuel sections. In addition, aircraft function, including safety concerns like the immediacy and effects of cabin decompression will be covered.
The seminar will then move to the Barcelona Krav Maga Training Center, where students will be taught practical skills in how to address, confront and mitigate various situations, threats, or attacks in an air travel environment. To make the material as practical and realistic as possible, the student will develop these techniques in progressive difficulty and eventually under high stress levels.
The seminar will conclude with a high-intensity training session. Aircraft knowledge, awareness training, and combat skills will be brought to the test in an airplane simulator that will test the student's ability to respond to attacks while being confronted by unstable footing, explosions, and decompression -- indicated by fog and a sudden drops in temperature.
This course is open to all civilians and travelers who want to enhance their training in both self-protection and protection to others in an aircraft environment.
